Grandma's Cranberry Pie! A must for Thanksgiving

This easy and delicious cranberry pie is a sure winner for Thanksgiving dessert (or breakfast!)

Grandma’s Cranberry Pie Recipe

First, melt 1/2 cup of butter and 1/4 cup margarine, and set aside to cool. (I just use butter.)

Then in a separate bowl, wash 2 cups of whole cranberries and, while still wet, mix with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans and set aside.

In another large bowl, mix:
- 1 cup sugar (I use half cup white sugar and half cup brown sugar)
- No one cup flour

Then combine in 2 eggs slightly beaten.
Combine melted butter with flour/egg mixture. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Fold in cranberry mixture and put into 9" greased glass pie plate.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
